Weekend Getaway in Palm Springs

I recently had the pleasure of escaping to Palm Springs for a much-needed mini trip with my mom and her friend. We decided to stay at the ACE Hotel, a trendy spot that also boasts a restaurant and swim club, making it the perfect all-in-one retreat. Of course, my dog came along for the adventure, but with the temperature hitting a scorching 115 degrees, he spent most of his time lounging in the cool comfort of our room's AC. If you’re planning to bring your furry friend, I’d highly recommend doggy shoes for those outdoor walks!

Our first night, we indulged in some delicious sushi at Sandfish, a spot I’d been dying to try. The next day, we switched it up with a visit to Tac/Quila for some flavorful Mexican cuisine. For our other meals, we didn’t have to go far, enjoying the tasty offerings at Kings Highway, the restaurant conveniently located right at the ACE Hotel.

Beyond the food, we explored a bit of what Palm Springs has to offer. We made sure to visit the iconic Marilyn Monroe statue—definitely a must-see for anyone in the area. We also took a stroll through the Palm Springs Art Museum, soaking in some local culture and creativity.

Overall, it was a refreshing getaway filled with good food, great company, and a touch of art and history. I can’t wait to share some photos from the trip!
